Opening hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.30am - 4pm (closed between 12.30pm and 1.30pm) and Saturdays from 9.30am - 3.30pm (closed between 12.30pm and 1.30pm).
Sessions are generally in groups but we can see people on a one-to-one basis. Support is usually delivered over eight weeks and is divided into the following areas:
- pregnancy service Quit4u2 - offering intensive support to pregnant women, new mums and their families
- workplace service - offers group and one-to-one sessions at the place of work for smokers committed to a quit attempt. Businesses can also be offered help in developing their smoking policies.
- young people - providing health education to all schools across the district. Young people who are motivated to quit smoking are supported in their attempt.
- mental health - offering support to clients with mental health problems
- older people - encouraging older people to stop smoking, offering support in their own home or residential/nursing home
- quit shop - a place for smokers to drop in and chat about quitting and get help and advice.
