Commissioning policies

NHS Wakefield District has a legal duty to commission (that is plan, pay for and monitor) healthcare services for people in Wakefield district. This includes a requirement that the PCT has arrangements in place for making decisions on the funding of healthcare interventions.

The details of these arrangements and decisions can be found in our commissioning policies.
