West Yorkshire Cardiac Patient and Public Involvement Network

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed participants from the community to form a Cardiac Patient and Public Involvement Group.

What: West Yorkshire Cardiac Network Patient and Public Involvement Group.

Who: Patients and carers who have had experience of a cardiac illness or cardiac services in hospital or the community in the past 3 years and not associated with childhood or pregnancy related conditions.

Why: To ensure that the patient and carer perspective is considered in all aspects of West Yorkshire Cardiac Research and Development. It will be a source of advice for researchers proposing bids for and undertaking research in West Yorkshire.

When & Where: The initial Introduction Meeting is to be held at a central Leeds venue on Friday, 25th November 2011 between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
