Welcome to your zone
This part of our website is dedicated to giving our patients an opportunity to have a say about local health services. It also provides you with information about the different ways you can get involved.
There are a number of different ways you can participate in various projects and have an input. This can vary from simply talking to us about your experiences to attending regular planning meetings, depending on the level you would like to become involved.
Your Zone features different PCT run events and programmes for you to take part in, for example:
- our latest consultations;
- local or national patient surveys;
- workshops or patient focus group;
- recent publications; and
- our Expert Patient Programme (EPP).
You can also register with the patient and public involvement team database if you would like to:
- become a member of our patient panel;
- attend regular meetings as a patient representative;
- review leaflets and information for patients;
- attend public meetings and events;
- relay experiences of health services to staff/staff training;
- help recruit new staff; and
- review PCT documents.
Putting people first
We appreciate that you will be giving up your valuable time and skills in order to have your say. The PCT will make sure you are not out of pocket as a result of your involvement, and will reimburse any travel costs.
